A Note from Allyn:
I know many of you are going to ask me if this product works and how it compares to Hydretain. I don’t know on this one yet. It looks awesome, though; read the label. Take some time and learn like I just did. I had fun searching for words like “soil colloid” and remembered that my nickname in my junior year of college was “hard to wet.” Kidding aside, there is some terminology that I don’t understand. I’ll get with John, and we will do a podcast and talk about it to get more info.
I can tell you this much: I’m excited to throw it down and see what it does myself! That’s because I’ve been working with John Perry for six years now, and I’ve always trusted his bio-stimulants and fertilizers in my programs. Our lawns look great with a foundation of John’s Humic, Fulvic, and Kelp washed down with a healthy dose of Air8.
How does it compare to the granular Hydretain? I’m not sure, as I have not used it yet, but I do know that both are blackout-compliant in Florida. Some of you who like to mess around with new stuff should pick up a bag and test it out. Have fun with it! The rate is 4lbs 1,000, but troubled areas can be “painted black” with 10lbs 1,000.
Lastly – I’ll be spreading some of this in my lawn too! We just don’t have it in stock yet – it’s that fresh, literally being made now. So once we get it in stock and I can get a bag I’ll make some content on it and we will put it in some potted plants along with the liquid version and have fun with all of it.
